Officially launched in Grenada on July 28, 2009, the Caribbean ICT Roadshow, is an initiative undertaken by the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) to raise public awareness and establish strategic programmes to promote the use of ICT in Caribbean countries for national and regional development. The Roadshow, which consists of lectures, presentations, technology exhibitions etc., visits the islands in the region, with a mandate to educate and promote the use of ICT in government, education, business development and other key areas in society.
